Serve Who Serve is committed to “serving the men and women who have sacrificed to protect our homeland and communities and to serving the future of our Country, our youth”. SWS, since inception in 2012, has invested in infrastructure projects,  sponsored and direct giving, and support of outdoor educational educational skills development programs.

Children’s Programs

Program: Upper Highland Lakes Nature Center (UHLNC)
Serving: Youth and Outdoor Enthusiasts
 
Details:  Serve Who Serve co-founded the Upper Highland Lakes Nature Center.  The UHLNC focuses on building the public’s awareness, appreciation, and conservation of the outdoors and natural resources through educational and recreational outreach to all ages. Located at Reveille Peak Ranch, The Nature Center Specializes in outdoor education for children and supports K-12, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts, 4-H and church groups. The Friends of UHLNC (numbering over 100) raise funds and provide volunteers to teach and care for the Nature Center.

HPNC RPR

Program: Upper Highland Lakes Nature Center / Boy Scout Merit Badge Programs
Serving: Youth/Future Leaders
 
Details: Serve Who Serve has been huge supporters of the Boy Scouts of America. Through our partnership with, and the volunteers from Friends of the UHLNC, at least 25 merit badges can be earned during camping weekends or on special merit badge workdays. They include Rock Climbing, Orienteering, Hiking, Cycling, Canoeing, Backpacking, Wilderness Survival, Fishing, Fly Fishing, Geocaching and Shotgun Shooting as well as nature-related badges including Archaeology, Astronomy, Bird Study, Environmental Science, Mammal Study, Nature, Plant Science, Reptile and Amphibian Study.

Veteran’s Programs 

Program: Reveille Call 

Serving: Active Duty & Veteran Military/Law Enforcement & Patriots

Details: Founded by Serve Who Serve, Reveille Call is a one-day event centered around Veteran’s Day. The purpose of creating Reveille Call is to connect civilians, active duty, veterans and all the nonprofit support charities in the military and law enforcement space. Join us for an 11-Mile March or our “Tradition Games” this November! Walk to honor those who have served or compete in 10 “traditional” games with teams comprised of half military/LE and half civilian! Over 30 different agencies have participated in Reveille Call including: Round Rock SWAT, 3d Cavalry Regiment, 11 ASOS, Burnet FD, Austin Police Department, Texas Rangers, Marine Recruiting, Wilco Tactical Medics, C 2-227th, Texas Rangers SWAT, Texas Army, 1st Cavalry Regiment, TRWB and MOPH 1919.  Program: Carry The Load Memorial Day March
 
Serving: Active Duty & Veteran Military/Law Enforcement and Patriots
 
Details: Carry The Load- Austin is a Memorial Day event, for the entire family, honoring service members and their families for the sacrifices they make. Veterans, Patriots and Gold Star families enjoy a full of day of activities to include demonstrations by our first responder and law enforcement personnel, interactive activities, and the Carry the Load event.
Carry The Load-Austin helps people celebrate a meaningful Memorial Day by walking or running as much or little of a 20.15 mile march that honors those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice. Program: Heroes on the Water  

Serving: Disabled Service Members

Details: Serve Who Serve founded the Central Texas chapter of Heroes on the Water. HOW helps our Nation’s warriors and veterans from all branches of the United States military unwind using the therapeutic qualities of fishing from kayaks. What looks like a day trip of paddling and fishing is in fact something much deeper and long-lasting. (www.heroesonthewater.org)

Serve Who Serve helped establish Reveille Peak as the permanent home of the TTPOA Competition, Texas Tactical Police Officers Association.
